  A1 (594 x 841 mm): a large poster that stands out from a distance. Widely used for advertising in shops, cinemas and at trade fairs.

  A3 (297 x 420 mm): the size of two A4 sheets side by side. Stands out indoors and suits announcements seen from close up.

  A0 (841 x 1189 mm): the largest A-series size, sixteen times the size of A4. Highly visible from a distance, suited to large spaces and outdoor advertising.

  A4 (210 x 297 mm): the size of a standard sheet of paper. A compact poster for indoor use, at eye level or on a notice board.

  B1 (700 x 1000 mm): a large poster size widely used for billboards and advertising boards. Stands out in busy environments.

  B2

  B2 (500 x 700 mm): slightly larger than A2, a common poster size in shops and on advertising columns. Readable from a few metres away.

  Landscape

  Landscape means the poster is wider than it is tall. Suited to wide images, panoramas or designs with lots of horizontal space.
