We print a lot. We take that seriously.

HelloPrint was built to disrupt the print industry. To become not just the largest, but the most sustainable infrastructure for custom print products on earth. Print is a polluting industry. We don't pretend otherwise, and we don't wait for someone else to fix it. We start with ourselves.

Purpose

HelloPrint exists to give every business, regardless of size, access to the same quality of print as the world's biggest brands, and to prove that a large-scale operation can actively reduce the print industry's environmental footprint. We use our scale across 13 countries and 700,000+ customers to reduce print and shipping CO2, raise the bar on supplier sustainability, drive down packaging waste, and make responsible print the default, not the exception.

Our purpose and policies summarized here are all approved by the Board of Directors of HelloPrint B.V.

Diversity, equity & inclusion

At HelloPrint, we believe great performance starts with the right environment. We're building a workplace where people don't just feel included, but are able to perform, grow, and make real impact - regardless of background, identity, or perspective.

This means:

  • People feel safe to speak up

  • Everyone has fair, transparent opportunities to grow

  • Decisions are made transparently and based on impact

  • Different perspectives are actively valued

We do not tolerate discrimination, bias, or exclusion in any form - in our workplace, in how we serve our customers, and in the communities where we operate.

Our policies

Human rights policy

HelloPrint commits to respecting all internationally recognised human rights across our own operations and our business relationships - our employees, our supply chain, the communities near production and transport, and the customers who use what we make.

We are guided by:

  • The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights

  • The International Bill of Human Rights

  • The ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work

  • The OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct

In 2026 we completed our first company-wide Human Rights Risk Assessment, covering 32 risks across our own operations and value chain - from forced labour and fair wages upstream, to data protection and product safety downstream. Where we identify potential harm, we act to prevent it; where we've caused or contributed to harm, we commit to remediation.

This policy covers all HelloPrint employees, contractors, and freelancers, our full value chain, and the consumers and communities affected by our operations. Raise a human rights concern: [email protected], or via our grievance procedure form.

Reviewed every 3 years.

Raise a concern - Grievance procedure

Employees, suppliers, customers, and anyone affected by HelloPrint's operations or value chain can raise a concern about our conduct — related to social, environmental, or governance issues, including (but not limited to) working conditions, discrimination, environmental harm, misleading claims, or breaches of business ethics anywhere in our value chain.

How to raise a concern:

  • Anonymous online form: name and email are optional

  • Email: [email protected]

  • In person or by phone, with the Head of Talent & Culture, and employees can also contact De Vertrouwenskamer, our independent external confidant.

What happens next:

  • We acknowledge your report within 7 calendar days

  • We assess severity and scope within 10 working days

  • We investigate and reach a decision within 30 working days for standard cases

  • We tell you the outcome within 5 working days of that decision, or explain why we couldn't accept it as a grievance

We have a strict no-retaliation policy. Anyone raising a concern in good faith is protected from any adverse consequence. You can escalate to our CEO or Supervisory Board at any point.

Lobbying & political engagement

HelloPrint does not engage in any form of lobbying - no direct or indirect influence on public policy, no funded campaigns aimed at shaping legislation, and no coordinated industry efforts to influence regulation. If this position ever changes, we will update this policy and communicate it transparently before any lobbying activity takes place.

We maintain strict political neutrality. HelloPrint makes no financial or in-kind contributions to political parties, candidates, movements, or related entities - regardless of whether their values align with ours.

We're members of NLdigital and TechLeap Community for sector knowledge exchange and industry networking, not for lobbying. We review both memberships annually to confirm they stay aligned with this policy, and we can opt out of any position that doesn't.

We maintain zero tolerance for bribery and corruption, including in all interactions with public officials and government bodies.

This policy is reviewed annually and applies to everyone acting on HelloPrint's behalf.

Environmental responsibility - Climate Action Plan

Print is a polluting industry. We measure our full footprint every year - scope 1, 2, and 3 - and our biggest impact sits in our supply chain: product materials and transport, not our offices.

We commit to the global goal of limiting warming to 1.5°C, in line with SBTi guidance:

  • ~40% reduction in emissions intensity by 2030 (per €1M revenue, base year 2022)

  • 95% reduction by 2050

To get there: mapping end-of-life impact, defaulting to more sustainable shipping, switching to green electricity in Rotterdam and Valencia, and running yearly sustainability conversations with our largest suppliers and carriers.

Reviewed every 36 months - next review June 2029.

Responsible marketing

We only make claims we can substantiate with data.

Our responsible marketing policy prohibits:

  • Greenwashing or misleading environmental claims

  • Disproportionate sustainability claims not backed by evidence

  • Undisclosed paid promotions or influencer content

  • Deceptive or manipulative advertising practices

This applies to all channels, all audiences - including AI-generated content.
