Add 3 mm bleed on every side for commercial print (make your canvas 6 mm wider and 6 mm taller than the final size); for large-format work like panels, add 10 mm on every side. Run background colours and images all the way to the edge.
- InDesign / Illustrator: Document Setup → Bleed (3 mm commercial / 10 mm panels); export the PDF with "Use document bleed settings" ticked.
- Canva: File → "Show print bleed"; export as PDF Print with crop marks and bleed.
Keep text and logos at least 5 mm inside the final size — that's the safety margin. And please don't send Word documents — we don't accept them, because the layout tends to shift when they're converted to PDF.
