Standard Posters

  A1

  A1 (594 x 841 mm): a large poster that stands out from a distance. Widely used for advertising in shops, cinemas and at trade fairs.

  A2 (420 x 594 mm): four times the size of A4. Readable from a few metres away, suited to shop windows and events.

  A3

  A3 (297 x 420 mm): the size of two A4 sheets side by side. Stands out indoors and suits announcements seen from close up.

  A0

  A0 (841 x 1189 mm): the largest A-series size, sixteen times the size of A4. Highly visible from a distance, suited to large spaces and outdoor advertising.

  A4

  A4 (210 x 297 mm): the size of a standard sheet of paper. A compact poster for indoor use, at eye level or on a notice board.

  B1

  B1 (700 x 1000 mm): a large poster size widely used for billboards and advertising boards. Stands out in busy environments.

  B2

  B2 (500 x 700 mm): slightly larger than A2, a common poster size in shops and on advertising columns. Readable from a few metres away.

  Abri

  Abri (1189 x 1750 mm): the standard size for advertising in bus shelters and street display cases. Very large and designed to stand out strongly on the street.

  Portrait means the poster is taller than it is wide. The most chosen orientation for wall posters, with room for a title at the top and image below.

  Landscape

  Landscape means the poster is wider than it is tall. Suited to wide images, panoramas or designs with lots of horizontal space.

  135 gsm Silk: light, coated paper with a silk finish between gloss and matt. Colours stay clear with less reflection, easy to read.

  170 gsm Silk

  170 gsm Silk: coated paper with a silk finish, firmer than 135 gsm. Colours stay clear with little reflection and the poster holds its shape better.

  250 gsm Silk

  250 gsm Silk: thick, card-like coated paper with a silk finish between gloss and matt. Sturdy and non-bending, with clear colours and little reflection.

  No finishing

  No finish: your print is delivered without any coating or lamination. The paper keeps its natural look and can be written on straight away.
