When we generate your proof we check your file automatically, and everything we found is listed beside the proof. Notes come in two kinds:
- Auto-applied — safe fixes we already made: RGB converted to CMYK, bleed extended, fonts embedded. Nothing to do; just good to know.
- Check this — things only you can judge: a low-resolution image, text close to the trim line. Look at each one on the proof; want to fix something? Choose Upload new artwork.
Approving the proof means you're happy with the file including these notes — so give them a minute before you approve. And once you approve, that's final: your file goes straight to production and can't be changed afterwards.
