It’s finally here: our first annual impact report

After joining the accelerator track of ABN Amro, the drive to become a meaningful company got real. So in 2022 our sustainability journey officially took off. 

At the start of the year, we built a team to design their ESG strategy, spread the sustainability mindset throughout the organisation and kickstart projects and initiatives to create a positive impact on the planet and their communities.

This report is a reflection of the first year engaging in sustainability, in which we look back on the set targets, how far we have come and what the next steps will look like. We must admit: changing our company to a much more sustainable version is a bumpy road. We face many challenges and failures along the way, but we identify a lot of opportunities too.

Looking at the numbers, I believe we are not where we want to be yet. However, I feel that the mindset within the organisation is changing. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important topic within our day to day business. The impact report looks at the different pillars of our 2025 sustainability strategy: innovation & technology, marketplace and people. Within each pillar specific targets have been established for the upcoming years. The results of 2022 give good grounds for reflection, but above all indicate direction towards the goals where more attention is needed.

Being the leading marketplace for customised print products, we are aware of the environmental impact of our company and industry. This made us realise it is our responsibility to play a role in educating, advocating and changing for the better. With the largest network of manufacturers of customised printed products, we are determined to lead this necessary change. We believe this all starts by being as transparent and open as we can about our steps to become a better version of ourselves.

We want to drive the change because we believe that the world of tomorrow is our world. The road ahead is long, and we want to encourage everyone around us to challenge what we do so that we can accelerate the change.  Hans Scheffer, CEO
