Submission specifications

Keep 150 mm safety margin from the bottom.: For a roll-up banner, we use different safety margins per side. Please use the following safety margins: Top 10 mm, Left 4 mm, Right 4mm and the bottom 150 mm. The bottom part will mostly be covered by the roll-up banner stand and will not be visible.
Resolution of at least 150 dpi.: Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are at least 150 dpi.
Use CMYK as the colour mode.: Prepare your files using CMYK as the colour mode, not RGB. Use colourmode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2) for coated papertypes and colourmode FOGRA47 (PSO Uncoated ISO12647) for uncoated papertypes. If you are unsure of the colour mode of your file, don't worry we can always convert this for you. Keep in mind this can cause the colours to differ from the original file.
Save your files in uneditable, print-ready file formats.: Save your files in uneditable, print-ready file formats (PDF (1.4 or higher), TIFF, EPS, JPG). Deliver your files in one layer: the background layer.
Convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts.: Make sure you convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts when saving it to PDF.
Fonts should be at least 12 pt.: Fonts should be at least 12 pt.
Check your artwork on overprint.: Make sure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint unless you want this effect in your design. You can read more about overprint in our Help Centre.

Frequently asked questions

What is this product exactly? And what can I use it for?

Roll-up banners are one of our most sold products and are very popular for promotional purposes. A roll-up banner is a PVC material with your design printed on it, put into a spring mounted rolling system. The roll-up banner can be set up vertically by pulling it out of the rolling system and mounting it with the supporting pole to hold it up. This is the ideal product for promotion because of it's size and visibility.

What materials can I choose from?

Airtex 330 gsm: Has a light matt structure and is also used for wallcovering. Airtex is very suitable for print on bigger surfaces. The back of airtex is gray and not translucent. The material is water-repellent.

Are XXL Roller Banners fit for usage outside?

All of our roll-up banners are mainly suitable for inside use. The lifetime of the banners are definitely influenced by outside use and not recommended for this.

Can I change the canvas of the roll-up banner?

It is possible to change the canvas of your roll-up banner. Note: You need certain knowledge of the product to do this yourself. The rolling system on the bottom has high resistance so please do not change it without having knowledge about the product. Ordering the canvas alone (without the stand) can be done by ordering Banners.

What is the fastest possible turnaround?

The fastest possible turnaround for XXL Roller Banners is:

The cut-off time for your printed item may vary. This depends on the combination you choose. This has to do with the manufacturing technique and / or the order quantities.
Please note: The product delivery shifts a day every time the deadline for submission has passed. This is also the case if the file is rejected by us and corrected artwork isn't supplied before the next cut-off time.

Which production techniques do you use?

For the production of XXL Roller Banners, we use the following technique(s):
• UV-print: The product is printed with eco-friendly UV ink, which is immediately cured with a UV light. Curing ensures that the wet ink doesn't spread once printed, offering sharper quality prints.

Which carriers are used for the delivery?

For the delivery of XXL Roller Banners, we use our most reliable carriers which, in most cases, are UPS or DPD.
We also use DHL and our own courier service. However, these carriers are only used for certain products (depending on the size, the turnaround and the quantity).

I can't find the product I'm looking for. Can I request a quotation?

If your material type, weight, quantity, size or other specification is not listed, you can request a quotation. We will send you an offer within 1 working day.
Depending on the complexity, this can take a bit longer.

What does "B1 Certified" mean when it comes to a material being fire retardant?

The B1 fire retardant certificate certifies that certain materials are "hardly flammable," making them safe for indoor use. Such materials have a low risk of catching fire and do not easily spread flames, providing additional protection against potential hazards.
