Submission specifications for Transparent labels on roll

Add 5 mm bleed.

To allow leeway for cutting differences in production, always add a bleed of 5 mm around all edges of your design. Make sure colours, background pictures and layouts extend into the bleed area so as to avoid leaving white lines as a result of cutting tolerances. You can submit your file with crop marks and printer's marks.

White will not be printed.

White colors in your design will not be printed. All objects in your design that are white, will have the color of the material on the final result.

Use CMYK as the colour mode.

Prepare your files using CMYK as the colour mode, not RGB. Use colourmode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2) for coated papertypes and colourmode FOGRA47 (PSO Uncoated ISO12647) for uncoated papertypes. If you are unsure of the colour mode of your file, don't worry we can always convert this for you. Keep in mind this can cause the colours to differ from the original file.

Resolution of at least 300 dpi.

Lines should be at least 0.25 pt. Negative lines should be at least 0.5 pt.

Check your artwork on overprint.

What is this product exactly? And what can I use it for?

• Transparent labels on roll are comparable to stickers. The difference is that labels are produced on a roll and not as seperate stickers making them easier to dispense and utlilise. Labels on roll are often use when you need to label different items in a short period of time.
• Important note is that the stickers are fully transparent. Also the printed surface of transparent sticker will show a slight transparency. This means it will work perfectly on a bright background. But the print will not show on a the dark background. Would you like a transparent sticker where the print is not transparent, please ask for a quotation.

Are Transparent labels on roll fit for usage outside?

• Not all adhensive labels are suitable for outdoor use. If you want to use a label outside, we recommend 90 grams white or transparent PVC. Keep in mind that the lifespan of the labels is influenced by the weather conditions. A label that is used outside has a shorter lifespan than a label used inside. If you want to write on your labels we recommend using the adhensive 73 gram writable paper.

How many labels fit in a box/dispenser?

• This depends on the size of the labels. The larger the size, the less labels are fitted per rol.

What is the diameter of the inside of the roll?

• The diameter of the inside of the roll is 76mm.

Can transparent stickers be printed with a white design?

• No, transparent stickers can not be printed with a white design. All white parts in the design will be transparent within the design.
