EA5 envelopes are a very common format used to send A4 documents by simply folding them. It is a versatile format in the sense that these envelopes can be used for transactional business mails just as they can be used to contain flyers, vouchers and other promotional documents. Of course, as it is a very standard size, it is important to find a way to stand out in your recipients’ mailboxes. A way to do so is by using the surface offered by the EA5 letter to add a creative design and text which both grabs attention and is consistent with your brand image.
It can be hard sometimes for your flyers to stand out in a crowded mailbox, and often, they will simply be thrown away, without getting the attention they deserve. A well designed EA5 size envelope can change this. By simply putting your offline direct mail material inside a catchy envelope, you will build curiosity from your target audience, urging them to open it and give attention to its content. The envelope can also act as a flyer in itself, by advertising directly on its surface. By adding an address window, you can create a more professional and personal touch for your clients and prospects.
At Helloprint, your customisation goes much further than just choosing the size. We have over eight different types of envelopes available to suit every need. With your choice of size, of type, of design and of seal, you can be sure to send the envelopes that match your specific mailing campaign needs for maximum success. With the Helloprint promises, you can be sure to have the lowest price and most efficient turnaround.
EA5 envelopes are especially useful for sending personalised direct mail with an address window as the tight fit guarantees the address will always be visible.
Printing resolution for EA5 Envelopes
When printing an image of EA5 size you need to make sure you set it up on the right resolution. The resolution to use for an EA5 image is 220 x 156 mm at 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Make sure you also include bleed to avoid receiving your products with a white border around them. A 3 mm bleed on all sides of your design is sufficient. InDesign includes a tool which you can use to easily add bleed, in Photoshop you would have to add it manually. Are you not sure if you included bleed the right way?
