Our glassware and print are dishwasher. With beerglasses we advise to manually wash the glasses since chemical cleaning decreases the foam of a freshly drafted beer.
With printed glassware we use 2 techniques: direct printed or tranfser print.
Direct print This is the most common production technique for glassware. The print is done directly on the glass with a ceramic ink (grind glass with a dye). In the printing process they use a sieve. Once the glass is printed it goes through an oven, 560 to 650 degrees, to burn in the print.
Transfer print With the transfer print the process is slightly different. The ceramic ink (grind glass with a dye) is printed on a special white paper. Per colour there's a drying period of approximately 4 hours. After drying the print it's cut from the transfer paper and laid in a water. There it will rinsed of the transfer paper. After that print is applied on the glass manually. As a last step the glass will go through an oven to burn in the print.
All the glassware will be placed in boxes (depending on the glass per 6 / 12 / 36 or 48). Those boxes will be placed on a pallet.
