Use the right values for full colour black.

Use Rich Black (C:63% M:52% Y:51% K:100%) for larger areas and text to get a deep black colour. Do not use this value for text smaller than 15 pt or plain text. This can only be used in full colour printing. For designing black smaller texts use 100% black.

Frequently asked questions
What is this product exactly? And what can I use it for?
  • Bus stop posters are perfect for usage at bus stops on in bus stops boxes.

What is the fastest possible turnaround?
  • The fastest possible turnaround for Bus Stop Posters is:

  • When you click on all your required options, the fastest delivery date will be mentioned as the last step. Only applicable for products which require your design: To make sure that your order is delivered at the indicated time, it is important that we receive your file with your design for the product, on time (also called cut-off time). This way, the product can be moved into production on time. The deadline is always communicated at the final step when putting your product together and in the box on the right which details your entire order. The cut-off time for your printed item may vary. This depends on the combination you choose. This has to do with the manufacturing technique and / or the order quantities. The product delivery shifts a day every time the deadline for submission has passed. This is also the case if the file is rejected by us and corrected artwork isn't supplied before the next cut-off time.

Which production techniques do you use?
  • For the production of Bus Stop Posters, we use the following technique(s):

  • Digital printing: Uses four colours (CMYK) with toners and inks to print digital files. This option is comparable to a large home printer, and is cheaper than Litho printing for smaller quantities. This is because there are fewer starting costs, fewer components involved, and no ink drying time required.

  • Offset Lithography/Litho printing: This technique uses wet ink and aluminium and rubber plates to transfer images and text onto paper sheets, resulting in sharp, vibrant, and consistent prints. While this method may require slightly more setup than digital printing, it's the most cost-effective option for larger print runs.

Which carriers are used for the delivery?
  • For the delivery of Bus Stop Posters, we use our most reliable carriers which, in most cases, are UPS or DPD.

  • UPS

  • We also use DHL and our own courier service. However, these carriers are only used for certain products (depending on the size, the turnaround and the quantity).

  • The Bus Stop Posters that is chosen in most cases can be selected via our website.

  • Depending on the complexity, this can take a bit longer.

Will my poster be folded at the delivery?
  • No, the posters will be delivered rolled up (large sizes) or flat (small sizes).

What materials can I choose from?
  • 135gsm Gloss mc: This lightweight paper is the best choice when you're ordering in bulk, especially when you want to make a lasting impression without breaking the bank. This material suits inside usage the best.

  • 115gsm blueback: This type of paper is mainly used for pasting on triangle plates, two-signs and billboards. The blue back ensures that these posters are not see through, allowing you to paste them easily on another poster. In addition, these posters are made specifically for outdoor use and have a much better adhesion than normal print, because of coarse structure of the back.

  • 170gsm PVC: This synthetic type of material is ideal for outdoor usage, especially for damp and humid weather conditions, as it has a water-repellant layer. It is also quite durable and tear-resistant.

  • Photo paper 90 gsm: Has a very high colour intensity and is outstanding sharp. The whiteness is extra high. Suitable for portrait images, art or landscapes. As with most photo papers, they are intended only for indoor use.

How will my posters be delivered?
  • Small quantities are supplied on a roll. Large quantities are delivered flat in a box. Due to the delivery on a roll for small quantities, the paper may curl a little at first when hanging. By rolling the posters in the opposite direction and carefully placing something heavy on the poster, you will remove the bend.

Where are the best places that I can place my posters and how?
  • Depending on the material you choose, you can decide where to place your posters for different goals and usage.

The Glossy materials are great for interior use on walls, windows, columns and other surfaces. Blueback posters are great for pasting onto billboards and on top of other graphics. They are made specifically for exterior use as they are more opaque and thus easier to see in bright light conditions. Waterproof PVC posters are also great for using outdoors, as they have a water-repellant layer and are tear-resistant.

There are several ways to hang and place your posters. For different intentions, we recommend different ways. For example, if you want to place your poster outside for everyone to see and attract the attention of passing customers, try using Pavementsigns. If you are looking to communicate new deals, events or if you want to preserve your print for a longer time, take a look at our snapframes.
You can also use double-sided tape or poster holders to adhere the poster to a wall without damaging the wall or the poster.

I can't find the product I'm looking for. Can I request a quotation?
  • If your material type, weight, quantity, size or other specification is not listed, you can request a quotation. It is also possible to request binding in another colour. We will send you our offer within 1 working day. Depending on the complexity, this can take a bit longer.
