The fastest possible turnaround for Roller Banners is: • Next day Please note: Only applicable for products which require your design: To make sure that your order is delivered at the indicated time, it is important that we receive your file with your design for the product, on time (also called cut-off time). This way, the product can be moved into production on time. The deadline is always communicated at the final step when putting your product together and in the box on the right which details your entire order. The cut-off time for your printed item may vary. This depends on the combination you choose. This has to do with the manufacturing technique and / or the order quantities. Please note: The product delivery shifts a day every time the deadline for submission has passed. This is also the case if the file is rejected by us and corrected artwork isn't supplied before the next cut-off time.

What production techniques do you use for Roller Banners?

For the production of Roller Banners, we use the following technique(s): UV-print: The product is printed with eco-friendly UV ink, which is immediately cured with a UV light. Curing ensures that the wet ink doesn't spread once printed, offering sharper quality prints.

Retractable banners are primarily designed for indoor use. Outdoor exposure can significantly reduce their lifespan, so we recommend keeping them indoors for long-lasting durability.

What materials can I choose from?

Standard (510 gsm PVC): This is the most popular option. This material is sturdy, waterproof, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Moreover, this material is reusable and fire-retardant, further enhancing its versatility. Note: This material is not compatible with our premium base. High definition print (220mu UV print): The high definition print option features a matte white polyester film that boasts a satin gloss coating on the front, providing a sleek finish. Additionally, the material has a silver back, ensuring complete opacity. Eco 100% PVC free (260 gsm): For those seeking an eco-friendly choice, this is the ideal option. This recyclable material is a blockout fabric, effectively preventing any light from penetrating through. Moreover, it offers high-quality prints with brilliant colour reproduction.

What base does the Roller Banners have?

Basic: This is the lightest variant and uses two foldable supports to keep the roller banner standing. The weight of roller banners with a basic base ranges between 2.5 and 3.7 kg. This frame is suitable for both the standard banner material and the high-resolution photo canvas. Standard: This is our most chosen model and is much heavier and sturdier than the basic model. The base uses a fold-out stand to hold the roller banner upright and is more attractive to the eye. The weight of roller banners with this model is between 3.1 and 3.6 kg. This foot is suitable for standard banner material and for sharp photo canvas. Premium: This is the most luxurious model and immediately attracts the eye with its chic look. This model does not make use of braces and is extremely durable. The weight of roller banners with this model is between 6 and 8 kg. Can I change the canvas of the Roller Banner?

Changing the canvas of your Roller Banner yourself is possible, but it requires specific product knowledge. The rolling system at the bottom has high resistance, so please educate yourself before attempting any changes. You can order the canvas only (without the stand) by ordering banners .

Design guidelines

We recommend using our templates and guides for preparing your print-ready PDF.

You can download our guides and templates in the template section. Remember to delete the template layers before exporting your design to PDF.

If you already have a design, no worries; we accept other file formats, including JPEG, PNG, or EPS.

For photographic content, high-resolution JPEGs are recommended, preferably without compression. For graphics or text-based content, we recommend print-ready, vector-based PDFs. For content that is a combination of graphics and photography, we suggest using print-ready PDFs to ensure the best quality.

Use CMYK as the colour mode.

Prepare your files using CMYK as the colour mode, not RGB. Use colourmode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2). If you are unsure of the colour mode of your file, don't worry we can always convert this for you. Keep in mind this can cause the colours to differ from the original file.

Resolution of at least 150 dpi.

Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are at least 150 dpi.

Add 5 mm bleed and keep 10 mm safety margin

During production, there might be a slight cut deviation. To avoid any issues, we recommend the following:

Add a 5 mm bleed around all edges of your design.
Keep important elements 10 mm away from the edge or folding lines.
Avoid using borders or frames on smaller formats like labels.

Keep 150 mm safety margin from the bottom.

For a roll-up banner, we use different safety margins per side. Please use the following safety margins: Top 10 mm, Left 4 mm, Right 4mm and the bottom 150 mm. The bottom part will mostly be covered by the roll-up banner stand and will not be visible.

Text and fonts specifications (Min. font size is 20 pt)

For this product, the minimum font size is 20 pt. To avoid any issues, we recommend the following:

Fonts must be embedded or outlined.
If your design contains small black text, make sure it is 100 % black (Cyan: 0 Magenta: 0 Yellow: 0 Black: 100).

Note that we don't check spelling or typographical errors.

Minimum Line Width: 1.5 points (0.5 mm)

The line thickness should be at least 1.5pt (0.5 mm)

Check your artwork for overprint.

Make sure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint unless you want this effect in your design. You can read more about overprint in our Help Centre.

How to set up a Roller Banner

Roller Banners can be assembled in minutes. Follow these steps:

Remove all elements from the case.
Extend the pole to its full length.
If your banner has feet, turn them perpendicular to the base and place it on the floor.
Insert the assembled pole into the base.
Pull the print up from the base and secure it at the top of the pole.
